The Eastwood Academy is the Lead School in The Eastwood Park Academy Trust (EPAT). In conjunction with Essex Teacher Training (School Direct – Essex Teacher Training), we provide trainee teacher positions across a local network of schools in the Southend area.  

The following schools work within our partnership:

  • The Eastwood Academy.
  • Southend High School for Girls.
  • Bournemouth Park.
  • Leigh North Primary.
  • Kingsdown Primary.
  • Thorpedene Primary.

We currently have positions available for salaried and fee-paying trainees - bursaries up to £30,00, in both secondary and primary sector.

Applications need to be made through UCAS (www.ucas.com).

You must meet the following requirements prior to application:

  • A degree
  • At least a GCSE level C or above in English and Maths (and Science if Primary).
  • Proven experience of working with children.
